San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo is 200 miles north of Los Angeles and 230 miles south of San Francisco. The current population is about 45,000. Local citizens call it "SLO" and "San Luis". San Luis Obispo is on the California Central Coast. Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa is at the center of town.

The climate in San Luis Obispo is very mild. For example, the temperature for tomorrow, 12/22/07, is forcasted to be in the lower 60's.

The biggest difference is the climate. We are enjoying 60 degree weather in Paso Robles while a wicked snowstorm ravages the midwest. I think I can live with that.
